Many Midland families choose a farewell close to home, and for the eastern suburbs that often means Guildford Cemetery on Kalamunda Road in South Guildford, just minutes from Midland. Established in the late 1800s and listed on the State Register of Heritage Places, it is the resting place of some of Western Australia’s pioneers, with traditional, denominational and general burial areas, memorial and rose gardens, and its classic granite niche walls for ashes.
Guildford Cemetery does not have a crematorium, so for cremations we arrange a service at Karrakatta Cemetery or Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, each around half an hour from Midland.
