How much does a cremation cost in Perth?
Our cremation packages range from $3,800 for an unattended cremation (Essential Grace) to $12,500 for a church service followed by cremation (Divine Grace). Every price is fixed, GST-inclusive and published on our website, and we can also prepare a bespoke quote for your family.
What is the difference between an attended and unattended cremation?
An unattended cremation, sometimes called a direct cremation, takes place without a formal service or viewing beforehand, and many families hold their own memorial later. An attended cremation includes a funeral service first, in a crematorium chapel, church or venue, before the cremation takes place.
Which crematorium will be used?
We arrange cremations at all four of Perth’s metropolitan crematoria: Fremantle Cemetery, Karrakatta Cemetery, Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park and Rockingham Regional Memorial Park. Most families choose the one closest to home, and we handle the booking for you.
What happens to the ashes after the cremation?
We collect your loved one’s ashes and return them to your family. Many families keep them at home in an urn, place them in a memorial at a cemetery, such as a niche wall or memorial garden, or scatter them somewhere meaningful. We’re happy to talk you through the options.
Can we hold a service before the cremation?
Yes. You can hold an intimate service, a celebration of life in a chapel at Fremantle, Karrakatta or Pinnaroo, or a traditional church funeral before the cremation. Our Simply Grace, Amazing Grace and Divine Grace packages each include a service.
Is a coffin needed for a cremation?
Yes, a coffin is needed for every cremation. Our Essential Grace package includes an eco-friendly coffin with a name plaque, and our service packages include a choice of standard coffins, with upgrades available from our full range.
