Cemetery Locations

There are six (6) Cemeteries across Perth, each offering its own setting, with some featuring beautiful chapels, memorial garden sites, and both cremation and burial options.

Fremantle Cemetery

The East Chapel can accommodate up to 65 seated guests and is beautifully naturally lit, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto a lush garden setting, making it ideal for more intimate gatherings. The chapel is equipped with multimedia capabilities, including livestreaming and a television screen for photo displays or video tributes.

Adjacent to the chapel is a condolence lounge, offering a comfortable space for families to receive condolences or arrange catering following the service. The chapel and lounge is fully air-conditioned and heated to ensure comfort year-round.

The East Chapel

The West Chapel is the largest of the three chapels at Fremantle Cemetery, accommodating up to 220 guests seated and up to 250 standing. This spacious, naturally lit chapel features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a rustic garden, creating a serene and uplifting setting for a Celebration of Life.

The chapel is equipped with multimedia capabilities to enhance the service and the facility is fully heated and air-conditioned to ensure comfort for families and guests year-round.

The adjoining West Condolence Lounge is well suited to medium to large gatherings of mourners, providing a welcoming space for families to receive condolences following the service or enjoy some light refreshments.

The West Chapel

The outdoor area is a popular choice during the warmer months and offers a more informal alternative to a traditional chapel setting. Designed to provide families with a relaxed, open-air space to gather, this outdoor committal area includes limited bench seating and does not offer audiovisual or livestreaming facilities. Instead, it is a simple and peaceful place to come together around your loved one and share a quiet, heartfelt goodbye.

The Central Chapel (Outdoor Committal)

Karrakatta Cemetery

The Dench Chapel

Designed for smaller funerals, the Dench Chapel offers a quiet and comforting atmosphere and is ideal for gatherings of up to 20 people. A small Condolence Lounge is located adjacent to the chapel, providing a private space for family to gather following the service. The Dench Chapel is well suited to intimate family farewells, offering a gentle and personal setting to honour your loved one.

The Brown Chapel

The mid-sized Brown Chapel at Karrakatta can comfortably accommodate 40 people seated. For larger funerals, additional space is available in a covered area outside the chapel along with an external sound system. An adjacent Condolence Lounge completes the facilities. Includes 2 large TV screens and a committal area

This space is a light-filled, contemporary chapel designed to feel calm, open, and welcoming. Floor-to-ceiling windows draw in natural light and frame a tranquil garden outlook, creating a gentle connection to nature and a sense of peace. The neutral tones, clean architectural lines, and simple timber furnishings give the room a warm yet understated elegance.
The Brown Lounge flows from the Brown Chapel to accommodate mourners for light refreshments or condolences after the service.

The Norfolk Chapel

The classic Norfolk Chapel is the largest of the chapels, comfortably seating over 100 guests. For very large services, extra capacity is available within the covered entry area, supported by an external sound system to ensure all guests can participate.

The Norfolk features a media gallery, organ loft, quiet room, and a spacious condolence lounge where family and friends can gather following the service. The Norfolk Condolence Lounge offers the largest capacity for mourners to come together for light refreshments after the service.

Each chapel has been thoughtfully designed to include standing room at the rear, with multimedia screens mounted inside. As the largest chapel, the Norfolk also features external screens, along with two large internal screens and full livestreaming capability.

The chapel is fully air-conditioned and heated, ensuring comfort for families and guests throughout the year.

The Garden Chapel

Adjacent to the indoor chapel complex is the beautiful Garden Chapel, offering a picturesque yet private setting for families wishing to hold an intimate service in the open air. This peaceful outdoor space provides a natural and tranquil environment for farewells.

Please note that the Garden Chapel does not include built-in audiovisual facilities. Should these be required, along with seating or protection from the elements, they can be arranged by your Funeral Specialist to suit your family’s needs.

Guildford Cemetery

Memorials

Memorial Gardens at Guildford Cemetery provide a peaceful and thoughtfully designed space for remembrance, with a variety of plaque and memorial options available depending on the garden selected. One such option within these gardens is the Guildford Classic Niche Walls, which are crafted from granite and designed in the traditional Guildford style, offering a timeless and dignified place to honour your loved one.

Memorial selection appointments are complimentary and include a short visit to the cemetery grounds with a member of the Cemetery team. During this visit they will assist you in exploring the Memorial Gardens, selecting a suitable niche or memorial, and gently guide you through finalising the plaque inscription, including wording and layout.

Burials

The peaceful surroundings of Guildford Cemetery offer families a wide range of burial options within a calm and reflective setting. Both general and denominational burial areas are available.

Guildford Cemetery includes established denominational sections representing Anglican, Coptic, Orthodox, Macedonian, Muslim, and Roman Catholic faiths, as well as a dedicated area for Indigenous burials.

Newer burial areas are generally non-denominational, while still allowing families of shared faiths or cultural backgrounds to be located together if they wish.

Each burial plot can accommodate two adult burials, along with an unrestricted number of cremated ashes, offering families flexibility for the future.

Burial plot selection appointments are complimentary and include a brief visit to the cemetery grounds with a member of the Cemetery team, who will gently assist you in selecting a burial location that feels right for your family.

Midland Cemetery

Midland Burials

Midland Cemetery offers both general burial areas and 13 dedicated religious and ethnic sections, including Baptist, Lutheran, Salvation Army, and Wesleyan communities. The cemetery also has a strong association with the Chinese community, marked by a traditional Chinese Pagoda at the entrance to their section. In addition, areas for Indigenous burials are available, reflecting respect for cultural traditions and connection to Country.

Rockingham Regional Memorial Park

Rockingham Cemetery

Set within open parkland and beautifully landscaped gardens, Rockingham Regional Memorial Park offers a calm and natural environment where families and friends can honour and remember those they love. The memorial park provides a range of burial, cremation, and memorial options, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of a diverse community, while offering welcoming spaces for quiet reflection, connection, and remembrance.

Rockingham Regional Memorial Park is located on Baldivis Road, Baldivis, with the main entrance situated opposite Heartwood Boulevard.

While there are no chapel facilities on site, a medium-sized gazebo is available for families wishing to hold a small, intimate farewell prior to a burial or unattended cremation, offering a simple and peaceful setting for a final goodbye.
